Vienna House Andel's Berlin
Landsberger Allee 106, 10369 Berlin GermanyWhy We Like It
The large, light-filled rooms come with plenty of modern amenities, while the Michelin-starred restaurant and swanky rooftop lounge make up for the fact that the property isn’t within walking distance of many restaurants or bars. With a tram and S-Bahn stop right across the street, you can get to most major sites quickly and easily.

The ground-floor Mavericks serves casual, California-style cuisine in a light-filled, dual-level space decorated with funky local artwork. If you can score a reservation—there’s currently a two- to three-month waiting list—the 35-seat Michelin-starred Skykitchen, on the 12th floor, offers panoramic views along with chef Alexander Koppe’s inventive spin on Berlin cuisine.
Tip Try Berlin-style home cooking at Skykitchen’s Sunday brunch, with specialities made by Edeltraud Koppe, mother of star chef Alexander Koppe.
Drinking
Aptly named, Skybar occupies the hotel’s top floor and features spectacular views to the east and west and over the neighboring velodrome. There’s a long green-marble bar with stools and plenty of retro-style seating where you can enjoy a Berlin twist on classic cocktails.
