St. Johann im Pongau

St. Johann has developed into a full-fledged year-round resort, with its own small local ski area and a more extensive ski network starting 4 km (2½ miles) away. The area is favored by cross-country and intermediate-level downhill skiers, as the gentle slopes provide a decent variety of runs.
