Centered around Busan's northernmost beach, Songjeong is usually a place where people seek out solace on the sand. However, with its own cluster of small hotels, cafes, restaurants and bars, it's become a terrific alternative to the more crowded environs of Haeundae or Gwangalli. Add the natural splendor of Yonggungsa Temple and the seafood served in the nearby fishing village of Cheongsapo, and Songjeong suddenly becomes a destination in its own right.
